Tips from Our Members #
From Lisa: “Don’t worry if your first few squares aren’t perfect. The beauty of granny squares is that slight imperfections add character!”
From Jennifer: “I recommend using a larger hook (6mm or 7mm) and chunky yarn when you’re learning. It makes it easier to see your stitches.”
From Mike: “Count your stitches in each round. It’s easy to accidentally add or skip one, and counting helps you catch mistakes early.”
Practice Time #
Why not practice your granny squares and bring them to our next meeting? We’d love to see what you create!
Happy crocheting! 🧶
