January 2026 Meeting Recap

What a wonderful start to 2026! Our January meeting was filled with great conversation, cozy vibes, and impressive crochet projects.

Book Discussion: The Midnight Library
#

We had a fantastic discussion about The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. The book’s themes of regret, choice, and second chances really resonated with our group. Here are some highlights from our discussion:

  • Sarah shared how the book made her reflect on her own life choices and appreciate where she is now
  • Mike pointed out the clever use of library metaphor throughout the narrative
  • Everyone agreed that the ending was both satisfying and thought-provoking

Group Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5 stars)

The crochet projects this month were absolutely stunning:

January Crochet Projects

  • Lisa completed her granny square blanket - 6 months in the making!
  • Tom showed us his first-ever scarf (looking great for a beginner!)
  • Jennifer brought in a gorgeous temperature blanket she’s working on

We voted on our next book and it’s official: we’ll be reading The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune for our February meeting.

Can’t wait to see everyone again next month!
